"The cloud" is a comforting abstraction over racks of hardware in a data center you'll never see, run by people you'll never meet.

The lesson: the cloud doesn't make security someone else's problem. Shared responsibility is real — encrypt your data, lock down your buckets, and know what you own in the model.
