Every field has the moment where a little knowledge feels like a lot. Cybersecurity just has the best aesthetic for it — falling green code optional but encouraged.
The lesson: the green-text phase is fun, but real security is boring fundamentals done consistently. Stay humble; the gap between "looks like a hacker" and "is useful in an incident" is years.
